EB1-B:

In EB1-B, a priority worker is classified under the subcategory. Professors without a labor certification get the green card as the green card for outstanding professors. These immigrants are eligible to work for U.S. universities or private employers with this immigrant visa. An alien worker must be internationally recognized for being outstanding in his or her field of study or scientific research before being eligible for this visa. A green card can also be obtained with this visa for the applicant's spouse and unmarried children under 21 years of age. In order to apply for a foreign worker visa with the USCIS, the employer must file a petition (the beneficiary is the foreign person).

Priority workers are classified into the EB1-B category. Petitioners must show that they have been internationally recognized as having made outstanding contributions in a particular field. To be considered for a position, the foreign national must have at least three years of experience in teaching or researching in the academic field.

For your EB-1-B visa application, you will need these qualifications:

·       To qualify for priority status, the priority worker must be recognized in a certain scientific or scholarly field.

·       Teaching or conducting research in his/her academic field must have been done for at least three years.

·       An EB1-B petition cannot be submitted by the beneficiary. Instead, the employer must petition the government and the employee must benefit from it.

·       The employee does not need a labor certification, but unassigned employment must continue.

·       It is necessary for the foreign worker to show evidence of his/her work experience and awards/recognitions in order to be accepted.

The EB1-B offers the following advantages:

·       The applicant does not need to obtain labor certification or an LCA. It is possible for the employer to directly offer the job to the candidate through EB1-B without first conducting the LCA.

·       Due to the green card being a travel document, the holder can travel both within and outside the country

·       Their children can go to school and work in the United States if they own EB1-B visas.

What is the process for obtaining an EB1-B visa?

·       Filing I-140, also known as the Alien Worker Petition, is the first step in the process.

·       A beneficiary who is in the United States when filing for asylum must complete form I-485, which is the application for Adjustment of Status from Non-Immigrant to Immigrant.

·       As part of the visa processing process, the applicant is required to fill out Form DS-260, Immigrant Visa Application, and submit it to the   Consular Section.

·       Interviews for EB1-B visas are the final step.
